MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) has issued a notification inviting online applications for various posts on contractual basis for a period of 6 months. These posts are Lab Assistant/ OT Assistant/ X-Ray Assistant, GDMO-II, and Dental Surgeon.

The above mentioned posts are divided into different reserved categories and unreserved category as per the government rules and are also subject to change as per the requirements of Corporation.

Eligibility criterion:
Age limits:
GDMO-II- Age limit is 32 years, relaxable by 5 years for govt. employees/SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC/PH candidates
Dental Surgeon- Age limit is 35 years with due relaxations allowed to Government employees/ SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates
Lab Assistant/ Operation Theatre Assistant/ X-Ray Assistant- The age limit is 27 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/ Government employees and 3 years for OBC/PH candidates.
Pay scale:
Post No. 1/2: Rs.15600+ 5400+ UA
Post No.3/5: Rs. 5200+ 2400+ Variable DA
Post No. 4: Rs. 5200+2000+ Variable DA
Educational qualifications:
GDMO-II: The candidate must possess a recognized medical qualification as per Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 as well as DMC registration for this qualification.
Dental Surgeon: The candidates must have a Degree included in Part- I and II of Dentists Act, 1948. They should be registered with Dental Council and also possess an experience of 3 years.
Lab Assistant: The candidate should be High school pass with Science as a subject from a recognized Board and hold a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology.
Operation Theatre Assistant: The candidate should have passed High School from a recognized Board and possess an experience of 2 years at similar post in any reputed medical facility.
X-Ray Assistant: Candidate must have passed High school with Science from a recognized Board along with a valid certificate in Radiology/ Radiography.
How to apply:
To apply for any of these posts, the interested candidates can obtain the application form from the MCD website. The candidates are also required to deposit fees of Rs. 200 for Posts of Lab Assistant/ OT Assistant/ X-Ray Assistant and Rs. 1000 for posts of GDMO-II/ Dental Surgeon in the form of Bank Draft/ Banker’s cheque issued in favor of Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation payable at Delhi on the date of interview. The candidates are also required to bring a hard copy of application form, 3 passport size photographs, original documents of qualification and experience as well as self attested copies of all relevant documents.
