*K-TET or Kerala teachers eligibility test is a test conducted by the government of the Kerala for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class 1-5) & upper primary (class 6-8) classes in states of Kerala.



Eligibility Details for K-TET 2013:

FOR PRIMARY (class 1-5):

1. Candidates should have passed in senior secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks.
2. Candidates those are appearing in final year of diploma in elementary education or diploma in special education/bachelor of elementary education of 4 years are also eligible. Candidates having qualification of at least 50% marks in BA, BSc can also apply

FOR UPPER PRIMARY (class 6-8):

1. Candidates having BA,BSc /2 year D.Ed with minimum 45% marks.
2. Candidates passed/appeared in B.Ed/senior secondary with at least 50%marks.
3. Candidates appearing in 4 year bachelor in elementary education/4 year BA, BSc(Ed)/ BA(Ed),BSc(Ed) with minimum 50% in BA, BSc are eligible.

Application fee KTET 2013 :
For General candidates/OBC it is Rs.500 only
For SC/ST it is Rs.250.
