NEST Scholarship 2014 www.nest.net.in

The S.U. Foundation of India (SUFI) Conducts the Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST) for Only Science Stream Students. Applications are invited from bona fide degree students of Science, engineering and medical course to award at least 20 scholarships wroth Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- each based on an online test on 25th January, 2014. Scholarship Registrations will open from 01st Aug, 2013. Further details of NEST Scholarship 2014 is mention below :-


About the test : N.E.S.T comprises of two exams for 2 different categories

NEST-I
Eligibility : Only for First Year and Second Year Degree Engineering, BCA, MBBS, ESc (all) and Final Year Diploma Engineering students

Cash Awards : 5 awards of  Rs. 15.000 each along with Rs. 25.000 for the highest scorer in this category

NEST-II :
Eligibility : Only for Third Year and Final Year Degree Engineering,  BCA. MBBS, BSO (Comp/ IT) students

Cash Awards : 5 awards of  Rs. 25,000 each along with Rs. 40,000 for the highest scorer in this category

Note: Certificates of Appreciation  will be issued to all the candidates, who score above 40% aggregate of all the five sections of the test

Application Fee : Application Fee of Rs. 500 may be paid through Demand Draft in favor of SEMCI INDIA payable at MUMBAI. Students can also make online payment through Credit/Debit Card / Internet Account details. The payment through DD needs to send at the following address-

Details of scholarship :
The scholarships are awarded based on merit in an online test of 3 hours for 250 questions of 1 mark each spread over 5 sections, viz.

NEST I : Physics & Chemistry
   
NEST II : Technical groups: Choose any one A/B/C/D as mentioned below
A = Comp/lT/Elex/Telecom/Elect:
E = Mech/Prod/Auto/Instr;
C = Civil/Cons/Arch.
D = Medical (MBBS).
